Barista station in Ellisbridge, Ahmedabad
Barista Station covers Ellisbridge and the Ahmedabad pockets around it — Ghatlodia, Thaltej Cross Road and CG Road included. Ellisbridge reads as a residential neighbourhood on our job sheets, which changes the setup, the timing and the menu.
Live coffee bars & barista hire in Ellisbridge
On our Ahmedabad job sheets Ellisbridge is a residential neighbourhood — a locality we work in regularly rather than weekly, which usually means one crew covers it alongside a neighbouring pocket on the same day. Homes, apartment societies and their clubhouses — so the brief is almost always personal rather than corporate. House parties and milestone birthdays, griha pravesh and housewarmings, baby showers, anniversaries, kitty afternoons, festival get-togethers, and the smaller wedding functions that happen at home before the family moves to a banquet hall.
Nothing about that is unique to Ellisbridge alone — Ghatlodia and Thaltej Cross Road next door behave similarly. What is specific is the logistics: 70–90 minutes for the crew to reach you from where they stage in Ahmedabad, two crew, three to four lift trips, 20–25 minutes from vehicle to counter, and one visitor bay for about 45 minutes is all we need, but the society gate wants a resident's name, the flat number and an entry in the register. A WhatsApp message to your security desk the evening before removes the only genuine delay in a residential booking.

What events actually happen in Ellisbridge
Ellisbridge does not generate the same events as the rest of Ahmedabad. As a residential neighbourhood, its calendar looks like this — and we have sized the kit and the crew around it.
The rhythm of a week in Ellisbridge
Friday and Saturday evenings carry most of the volume, with Sunday brunches and afternoon kitty functions behind them. Festival weeks spike hard and book out early. Weekday daytime is quiet here, which is exactly when short-notice requests are easiest to say yes to.
We see 25–120 guests on a normal Ellisbridge job. The sizing is driven by the hour after guests settle, roughly 8:30–9:30 pm, when dessert and coffee land together: beyond about 60 guests inside that window we add a machine and a second barista rather than letting a queue form.
For anything larger than that, the Ahmedabad crew that covers Ellisbridge also works at GMDC Ground, so moving your function from a home or office in Ellisbridge to a larger venue nearby does not change the team or the quote structure.

High-rise: towers, service lifts and gate passes
Everything hinges on the lift. Our crates, the counter top and the compact machine are all sized to fit a standard passenger lift, because the goods lift is either booked by another vendor or out of service more often than anyone admits. We ask for a lift slot, and if the building insists on the service lift only, we take the slot it offers and shift our load-in time rather than arriving and waiting.
One visitor bay for about 45 minutes is all we need, but the society gate wants a resident's name, the flat number and an entry in the register. A WhatsApp message to your security desk the evening before removes the only genuine delay in a residential booking.
Domestic sockets are 6A and will trip under a commercial machine. What we actually use is the 16A point meant for a geyser, air conditioner or washing machine, or the clubhouse board. If neither exists we bring the compact single-group machine instead and plan the menu around it.
What we need from your side in Ellisbridge: the flat or house number, the society gate entry or RWA permission, whether the lift is working, and which socket in the kitchen or utility area is a 16A point. Nothing else. Counters, machines, grinders, cups, beans, milk, ice and waste disposal are all ours, and we leave the space as we found it.

Why Ellisbridge is priced the way it is
Ahmedabad sits on our Tier-1 rate card, roughly 15% above our Tier-2 city rates. That gap is real cost rather than positioning: metro venue access charges, in-house labour rules at large venues, paid basement parking for the load-in vehicle in areas like Ellisbridge, and higher barista wages. What you get for it is a larger standby equipment pool inside Ahmedabad and the option of a second counter at short notice.
